Friday, May 8th, there is a Junior high meet at the course. There will be around 25 junior high golfers teeing off at 3:30-3:45. They only play 9 holes and should be done around 5:30. The course is still open to play but it will be slow.
Dry enough for carts. Come on out!
We are looking forward to the 2015 season, and warmer weather!
This Saturday and Sunday the course will be closed for the annual 2-Day Golf Tournament with the Old Barn. If you are a team captain, you should be receiving text messages from the OB for reminders of your tee times. I will also have a tee time sheet posted in the clubhouse.
We will start to cut back on clubhouse hours next week. We still plan on having the clubhouse open if the weather is nice. If the weather is questionable or there has been no business for the day we will lock up.
The end of the year raffle drawing and party is coming up at the end of the month as well. More info to follow. We still have around 150 raffle tickets to sell. If you are willing to sell a couple or buy a couple please stop by the clubhouse. We appreciate all the support this raffle has had in the past but can also read the writing on the wall. Meaning, we will probably be taking a break from the raffle next year.
We will have a couple projects that we will be working on at the end of the year. One is the shed door replacements. We will hopefully get a few done this fall yet. If we don’t have the combination for your shed or a key to get in, please email me that info, stop by the clubhouse and give it to Luann or IB, or stop by and drop an extra key if you have one. We will need to be able to unlock your shed in order to swap out doors and make repairs.
