The End of the Year Party and Raffle Drawing will be on Saturday, Sept. 29. The drawing is at 7 p.m. We will serve dinner from 5-8ish. We will be having marinated pork loin and/or 4 oz dinner steak, dinner salad, potato, veggie and dessert. The cost is $10 per person. I will put a dinner sign-up sheet out at the course, just so we can get a rough estimate of how much food to make. You can call the clubhouse, stop by, or respond to this email with how many people are going to be eating. You can still eat on the 29th even if you do not sign up ahead of time. It would just be nice to have an approximate number before.
We have signed out approximately 1000 raffle tix with half of those being turned back in already. Please try very hard to sell the tix you have. If you would like another book, stop by the clubhouse and grab one before next weekend.
Last year we did a small, just for fun, 2 person golf tournament the weeks prior to the drawing and the day of. I think we will try that again. So anytime between now and Saturday 29 at 4 p.m. you may play. Ryder Cup Format-look at hole assignments below.
-$10 per team
-You can enter as many times as you would like with different partners
-Holes 1,2,3-Best Shot-both players hit from the same spot, take the best shot
-Holes 4,5,6- Best Ball-both players play their own ball and you take the best score for your team score. If I bogey and my partner pars our team score for that hole is a par.
-Holes 7,8,9 Alternate shot- both players tee off on hole 7 and then alternate shots for the rest of the holes. Whomever putts in on 7, the other person tees off on 8, etc. If you go out of bounds the next player hits.
Pay the $10 in the clubhouse and sign up your team on the yellow scorepad. Turn in your scorecard when you are done.
A reminder that the clubhouse is only open Thursdays-Sundays the remainder of the golf season, weather permitting.
