All the food will be complimentary and the drinks might as well be, only a $1. We will have pork sandwiches, soup, apps, and a dessert. The food and happy hour will begin at 5 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. You do not have to pay your 2019 dues to attend. Any dues that are paid are appreciated and used for operating money until the snow melts. The price of all dues remain the same for 2019. Click here for the Preston Golf Club 2019 Dues sheet. You are welcome to mail your dues as well. The address is listed on the dues sheet. The food and drinks are a thank you to all of our members. Our members are our most valuable asset.
Minutes from the Dec. Board Meeting
All Board Members Present: Tona Larson, Jeff Knies, Kody Ebner, Troy Case, Scott Rustad, Eric Scheevel, Kerry Soiney, and mng. Jay Harstad
Financials were approved. A copy of the financials will be available at the annual meeting. Josh from Majors Accounting will be on hand to explain and answer questions.
The large elm tree at the end of the right-side tree line for hole one is officially dead and will be removed by Root River Hardwoods this winter.
Another golf cart raffle for 2019 was approved.
Applying for a full liquor license, rather than just a 3.2 license, was approved. The increase in cost is minimal for insurance and around extra $1000 for licenses. Jay is looking into whether or not we can still have our members Bottle Club and a full liquor license.
A copy of the bi-laws was looked at. Corson Law Office will keep a copy. Any member is welcome to look at them upon request.
Years of service of each board member was discussed. All board members are willing to stay on the board until their 3 year terms are complete unless there is another club member with a strong interest to join. If that is the case let Jay know.
